Guuuys! I
wish you a very, very
HAPPY NEW
YEAR!
Did you
have a great night of New Year’s Eve? With lots of bubbly, awesome fireworks
and all your loved ones around you? I hope you did! :D
I
celebrated with 40 friends from my old school and had a fantastic night, only
that I missed the fireworks because it took ages to wish each and every one a happy
New Year. ;)
So, what
are you up to today? Nothing? Sleeping maybe? Or getting rid of a little
hangover? What about New Year’s resolutions? Have you made any yet?
Yes? Let me
guess… is it by chance any of these suggestions?
I know it’s
a common tradition to make resolutions for the new year. Still, I don’t do it (anymore)
– I already know that something I’ve not brought myself to do for one year won’t
work just because it’s January 1st now. Of course, I did
try once or twice (don’t we all tend to imagine that it is surely going to work this year even if it didn’t work the last
three times we tried? ;). Well, no surprise, I always failed.
The good
news is: this seems to be a veeeery common problem. Search for “New Year’s resolutions”
in google and you’ll see that everybody wants to be thinner, smoke and drink
less, work harder, waste less time, be a better person… the usual stuff. Failure,
though, seems to be the common result, too.
That's why my favorite
explanation for New Year’s resolutions is the one by Annie Taylor Lebel:
Again, I
wish you a fantastic New Year!
And one last
advice: Just claim your little vices as a part of your personality, then you
don’t have to worry about how to get rid of them anymore! ;)
See you :)
